ABSTRACT
Water scarcity and population growth have emerged as the most pressing challenges as the world’s population continues to expand, this coupled with the expansion of the irrigated area in the Shiroro district has led to high demand for irrigation water every day by day. This study deals mainly with geometry, with more emphasis being placed on the evaluation of morphometric parameters such as stream order, stream length, bifurcation ratio, etc. The Morphometric investigation of this drainage basin using GIS shows that it is a 6th-order drainage basin. These studies are extremely beneficial for planning rainwater harvesters and mitigating flood damage.
