ABSTRACT
Fish nurseries play an essential role in selecting superior seeds for optimal production of fish seeds. The research focused on observing natural carp nursery techniques with further analysis in the form of calculating the Fertilization Rate (FR), Hatching Rate (HR), and Survival Rate (SR). Based on the observations, the carp nursery process includes pond drying, egg hatching, larva rearing, carp seed harvesting, and pond water quality management. The Fertilization Rate (FR) value was 72.99%, the Hatching Rate (HR) value was 81.98%, and the Survival Rate (SR) value in Nursery I (PI) reached 70.06%. Some of the water quality indicators in the carp nursery ponds are appropriate but need to pay attention to and improved, especially on the indicators of phosphate, pH, and kH.
