ABSTRACT
Anti-microbial and anthelminthic activities of Spilanthes Filicaulis using four microorganism was isolated, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis and Aspergillus niger, the alcoholic extract was studied. The results show that the methanolic extract has high potency over such microorganisms. The work further shows that the methanolic extract of Spilanthes filicaulis has a strong anthelminthic efficacy. This explains its local use in herbal medicine as anti-microbial and anti-helminthic agent.
