ABSTRACT
With reference to the nuclear charge associated with our 4G model of final unification, it is possible to understand the mean nuclear stability range with a simple power law of the form, (Z+2.95)1.2±0.015. Corresponding mean excess neutron number is matching with Green’s stability relation. We would like to emphasize the point that, as atoms and atomic nuclides are being identified on the basis of their proton numbers, it seems logical to understand and estimate their relatively long living or stable mass numbers based on proton numbers. We are working on understanding the physical significance of the numbers 1.2 and 0.015 in view of the nuclear elementary charge and strong coupling constant.
