ABSTRACT
The core of an atomic nucleus composed of A nucleons is assumed to be composed of equal number of neutrons (N) and protons (Z); and for N>Z, the extra unpaired neutrons (N-Z) are assumed to constitute what is called neutron skin region of the nucleus. It is further assumed that the interaction between the core and the neutron skin results in an average potential Vo in which the neutrons in the skin region move, such that this interaction energy is Vo (A-2Z). The value of Vo is calculated for 254 Super heavy nuclei or elements (SHE or SHN) starting fromU93234 to Ei118295, using the recently proposed modified Nuclear Models [1, 2]. The modification has been introduced through the modified coulomb energy term [2]. The calculated values of the interaction potential Vo range from 1345.1283 MeV for U93234 to the value 1878.9611 MeV for Ei118295. However, a very high value of 2047.3124 MeV is noted for Ds110267. Definite variations in Vo are obtained for Isotones, Isotopes and Isobars. For Isotones, the value of Vo increases as the proton number (Z) increases. For isotopes the value of Vo decreases as the number of neutrons in neutron skin region increases. For Isobars, the value of Vo increases as the proton number (Z) increases.
