ABSTRACT
This research analyzed the bioeconomic model of Cutlassfish (Trichiurus spp.) resources exploitation in the Gordon-Schaefer model’s various fishery management conditions. This research was conducted from October 2017 to March 2018 using survey methods. The data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and surplus production Gordon-Schaefer analysis. This research used primary data and secondary data. Using Danish Seine, preliminary data were obtained from the fishermen who caught the Cutlassfish in Sikakap Waters. Secondary data was obtained from the time series period 2007-2017 about production data capture fisheries, gear types, and fishing effort Danish Seine in Sikakap Waters. The result showed that the effort of the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) condition is 183 trips with productions of approximately 48,720 tonnes. Efforts of Maximum Economic Yield (MEY) situation were 180 trips, with a total production of 48,706 tonnes. Open-access fisheries (OA) efforts were 360 trips with a total production of 3,265 tonnes.
