ABSTRACT
This study aims to identify the catch of rainbow shrimp at the TPI Minasari Pangandaran, find out the fishermen and bidders at the TPI Minasari, and find out the gear used. The method used was the survey method and descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the total catch of rainbow shrimp (Parapenaeopsis sculptilis) from July 4 to August 2, 2022, was 71.5 kg. The decline in rainbow shrimp catches resulted from climate change factors such as rainfall, high waves, and the fishing gear used. The daily catch of rainbow shrimp (Parapenaeopsis sculptilis) was highest on July 23, 2022, at 36.5 kg, catches of rainbow shrimp on July 26 and August 2 had the highest weight of 3 kg, while the lowest catch on 2022 July 31 was 0.7 kg. The Minasari cooperative and the TPI Minasari have 788 registered fishermen, but only 38 are actively operating. The number of bidders actively working at the TPI Minasari is 18. The fishing gear used by fishermen is a trammel net.
