Original research papers and letters to the editor of World Scientific News are welcome. Both should contain an Abstract (of up to 300 words) and a Conclusion section. Submission of an article for publication in World Scientific News implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis or as an electronic preprint), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language. Each author submitting a manuscript for publication is requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations, within two years of beginning the submitted work, that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, his/their work.
All editors of the Scientific Publishing House “Uroczysko” are asked to report any competing interests that could affect or be perceived as influencing their editorial assessment. Competing interests can include both financial and non-financial interests and must be reported as soon as they arise. If there is a competitive interest in the manuscript, the editor will not participate in any evaluation or decision-making regarding the respective manuscript.

Data verification remains the responsibility of the authors who have conducted the original research. For manuscripts involving clinical or patient, animals data, WorldScientificNews journal do not have access to, nor do they store, raw data related to research studies. Upon submission, authors are asked to confirm that more than one author has directly accessed and verified the raw data reported in the research manuscript. If authors are part of a collaboration with a commercial entity, at least one of the authors who has verified data should be from the academic team. All authors should have had access to the data and accept responsibility for submitting the manuscript for publication. The journal will publish all relevant statements provided by the authors.
If plagiarism is detected, the article will be immediately removed from the WSN scientific databases.
Other unacceptable research practices—such as failure to disclose competing interests, authorship disputes (including omission of authors), intellectual property disputes, or poor record keeping, among others—may also lead to further investigation.
Retractions are a rare but important part of the publishing process. Retractions are a mechanism for correcting the literature and alerting readers to papers that contain such seriously flawed or erroneous content or data that their findings and conclusions cannot be relied upon. Unreliable content or data may result from honest error, naïve mistakes, or research misconduct. The main purpose of a retraction is to correct the literature and ensure its integrity rather than to punish the authors.
Cases of publication misconduct, or unacceptable or inappropriate publication practices, will usually be investigated by editors but may also involve the authors’ institutions.
Corrections are issued for substantial factual errors in published content. Editors might be alerted to errors in published content by authors or readers, and the journal will publish corrections in a timely manner. Previously published versions will be available on request to the journal.
Editors may decide to publish an Expression of Concern when potential issues with a published paper are brought to their attention, and they judge it important that readers are alerted about a concern as soon as possible. An Expression of Concern may also be published if an investigation is ongoing and will be updated when the investigation is complete, after which a decision can be made on the validity of the paper.
